As the creator of this application, I found calculations involving 8 or 9 to be particularly tricky. Furthermore, totaling the cost of items during shopping trips often proved to be a daunting task.

With this in mind, I set out to create a tool that not only supported my own practice but also assisted others in honing their mental arithmetic skills. Through rigorous testing while in development, I noticed a marked improvement in my addition abilities. HOW TO USE

• Numbers will be displayed sequentially at predefined intervals.
• Calculate the sum mentally as each number appears.

STAGES

The app includes 20 stages featuring combinations of five different digit lengths (ranging from 1 to 5 digits) and four time intervals (6, 3, 1, and 0.5 seconds). The ultimate challenge presents a five-digit number with swift 0.5-second intervals. Attaining proficiency at this level will crown you as an "expert".

Each stage boasts its distinctive title:

• 1-digit, 6-second intervals: "Shell" stage
• 1-digit, 3-second intervals: "Prawn" stage
• 1-digit, 1-second intervals: "Turtle" stage

EXPERT MEDALS AND LEVELS

An expert medal awaits those who correctly answer five consecutive challenges within a stage. Your highest awarded level across all stages reflects your current expertise. How far can you progress? Test your skills today!

PRACTICE FUNCTION
